Hello Peru
Traveling for the very first time South America and I enjoy it very much. My Spanish ain’t that good but I get more familiar with the customs, culture and language. This blog is the first part of Peru trip.
Lima
The capital of Peru is an amazing blend of everything, poverty, rich and poor. But also a nice cultural areas like Mariflores a great neighbourhood with good food and dancing all night in the evening.
Isla Ballestas and Huacachina
Isla Ballestas are a group of Islands at the coast of Peru famous of the birds preservation area (so many birds!!!) and other wildlife and the famous El Candelares a geoglyph carved in the rock. Just 3 hours away there is Huacachina an Oasis near Ica in the heart of the Sechura desert. A great place to hang out and do a buggy tour and sand boarding.
Arequipa and the Colca Canyon
Arequipa is the most laid back city I’ve been too. At the food of the Andes mountains, amazing old town center, very laid back people and good food. From Arequipa I traveled to Cusco / Cuzco and visited the Colca Canyon in between to see the amazing landscapes and the famous condor.
