Myanmar travel guide video
In my third year of my round the world trip. The Creative Globetrotter visit in the beginning of 2018 Myanmar aka Birma. Myanmar is one of the mysteries of South East Asia. In between South East Asian and South Asian culture it’s a country of thousand important buddhist temples, great trekkings, landscapes and local people. I visit the places of Yangon (Rangoon), Mandalay, Bagan (Pagan), Kalaw to Inle trekking and Inle Lake.
Yangon (Rangoon) & Mandalay
Former capital Yangon and Mandalay are the biggest cities in Myanmar. With amazing, big and beautiful preserved buddhist temples. Mandalay is very special of the 3 ancient cities (a part of Myanmar culture), U bein bridge, Buddhist monks during lunch and a good time with local people
Bagan, Kalaw to Inle lake, Inle lake
Bagan is the main highlight of Myanmar. One of the best preserved temple sites of whole Myanmar and Maybe whole South East Asia. From Bagan I went to Kalaw for a 2 day and 3 night trekking. Especially connecting with the local people and sleep in a homestay and monastery are very special. On Inle lake you can view great historical and cultural sites and a beautiful sunset.
